Project Context
Milestone Kitchens manufactures customisable, free-standing kitchen units. As part of ongoing website improvements, I collaborated with a developer to convert the testimonial system as a WordPress plugin using Vibe Coding and AI-assisted prompts to speed up development.
Problem Statement
The existing testimonial section was built on an outdated CMS that could not be updated by staff. The goal was to convert it into a WordPress plugin that integrates seamlessly with the new website while providing a better user experience for website visitors and internal staff.
The Team
This was a two-person collaboration between myself, UX Designer, and my husband, a Software Developer.
- I conceptualised the plugin, designed and styled the front-end, and handled AI-assisted prompt engineering.
- He guided and advised on improvements to the PHP, JSON, and JavaScript code.
- We worked together using ChatGPT as an AI programming assistant to accelerate the development process.
The Users
The plugin served two user groups:
- Website visitors – prospective customers browsing the website who need reassurance through authentic reviews.
- Internal staff – team members responsible for maintaining the website who required a simple, low-maintenance solution to add, edit and delete testimonials.
